Nutze unbedingt die Möglichkeit dir Flyer im Visitor Center und in den Hotels mitzunehmen. Hier findest Du teilweise echt gute Coupons, die sich richtig lohnen können. Sei es ein Rabatt in einem Restaurant, für Eintritte oder für's Shopping.
Schaue auch auf den jeweiligen Homepages nach, ob es da spezielle Discounts gibt. Oftmals sind die sehr gut und Du kannst eine Menge sparen. Denke beim Shoppen aber an die Zollfreigrenze von aktuell 400 €. 😁
In den Flyern findest Du auch Anregungen für Unternehmungen, sei es eben eine Radtour, mit einem Speedboot fahren oder einfach Tipps für Restaurants, Clubs und Bars. Viele enthalten auch eine Karte mit den wichtigsten Punkten vermerkt. Es gibt sogar Versionen auf Deutsch, wie z.B. den San Francisco Chaperon. Am Pier 39 gibt es sogar ein ganzes kleines Heftchen mit 50 Seiten voll mit Coupons. Also nutze was man Dir kostenlos zur Verfügung stellt. 😁
Für die Öffis gibt es die Möglichkeit sich den Streckenplan und den Zeitenplan zu downloaden. So hast Du selbst ohne Internet immer etwas dabei und musst nicht umständlich eine Karte entfalten und wieder falten.

In that flyer you also can find some hints for activities you can do in San Francisco like a ride with the bike, a ride with a speed boat or hints for restaurants, clubs and bars. Many including a map with the most important activities. At Pier 39 you'll get a small booklet with 50 pages full of coupons. So use everything what you can get for free. 😁
If you want to use the public transport you can download the maps and schedules on your phone. So you have everything with you also in case if you are not online and you don't need a big map made of paper.
